Umkhumbane Jazz Ensemble began as a musical outfit that unfolds the story of the Umkhumbane Settlements from a musical perspective. This provides the opportunity for our powerful heritage to converge with contemporary culture for regeneration politically, socially and ecologically. The ensemble is now well known and plays during productions and at events.

D&DSA is a dynamic Drumming and Dance extravaganza that showcases unique professional arts of African membrophones, timber, tins and shakers, enhanced by a contemporary African dance. It is a theatre/television programme that will target all members of South African families. The participants would be any persons legally living in South Africa, males, females of all races and all ages. The project recruits professional artists who are already in the field so as to make their dreams a reality. Graduate drummers and dancers from higher education and those who natured their talents though natural experience will be sought after. D&DSA will travel all South African big theatres as a full scale professional theatre production with national recognition and aggressive marketing journey.
